Luciafest is the Nordic Council of Greater Seattle's annual Santa Lucia celebration. The program features a Lucia procession, fiddle tunes from Lilla Spelmanslag (a children's folk music group), and dancing from Barneleikkarringen (a children's Nordic dance group). The event includes lessons and carols in Swedish and English, followed by a candlelight reception with coffee and Swedish treats. Celebrates the Swedish tradition of light in the darkness of winter.
