Berserk Viking Festival

An epic annual Viking festival at the Scandinavian Cultural Center in West Newton, Massachusetts. Features two rival Viking encampments on the front lawn with warriors crafting tools, playing traditional Viking games, and clashing in combat demonstrations culminating in a climactic battle at 2 PM. Activities include stone lifting with the New England Stone Lifters, rune-making, weaving stations, a Viking interaction zone, live Nordic music, and Scandinavian food including Icelandic hot dogs. Tickets are $20 for adults in advance ($25 day of), $10 for kids 12 and under ($15 day of).
