Seattle's Syttende Mai celebration is one of the largest Norwegian Constitution Day parades outside Norway. The parade runs through downtown Ballard, historically the heart of Seattle's Norwegian-American community, featuring marching bands, Norwegian folk groups, bunad (traditional costume) wearers, and community organizations. The day includes festivities with Nordic food, music, and drinks. Free and open to the public.
