Portland State University Nordic Language Programs

Portland State University's World Languages department offers first- and second-year Swedish and Norwegian language courses. First-year Swedish emphasizes communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Norwegian courses introduce elementary Bokmal with emphasis on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and reading. The Swedish program is supported by the Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation.
