Swedish Society of San Francisco

Founded in 1875 and descended from the Original Orpheus Singing Club (1873), the Swedish Society of San Francisco is the oldest Swedish organization in the western United States. The Society owns and operates the Swedish American Hall at 2174 Market Street, facilitating Scandinavian cultural events for nearly 150 years.
