Daughters of Norway – Valkyrien Lodge #1

Founded October 19, 1905, Valkyrien Lodge #1 is the oldest Daughters of Norway lodge, meeting on the second Saturday of each month at Ballard First Lutheran Church. The lodge is a cultural organization for women ages 13 and up who share Nordic heritage. Valkyrien was one of three founding lodges that created the Grand Lodge of the Daughters of Norway in 1908.
