Poulsbo's historic from-scratch bakery since 1966, when Marion and Loretta Sluys purchased Bauer's Bake Shop. Home of the famous proprietary 'Poulsbo Bread' made from wheat, barley, beans, lentils, and millet. Known for handcrafted donuts (Choc Viking, Maple Doughboy, King Olaf), Danish pastries, natural grain and sourdough breads, and specialty Scandinavian items. A staple of Poulsbo's 'Little Norway' heritage.
