Larsen's Danish Bakery

A Ballard landmark serving Seattle for over 50 years, founded in 1974 by Poul Larsen, who began his baking career at age 14 as an apprentice in Copenhagen. Specializes in authentic Danish pastries including Kringle, Kransekage, Smørkage, and freshly made lefse. One of the last remaining Scandinavian businesses in the historically Norwegian Ballard neighborhood.
